Guided By Voices Shoot Film Scene

Lo-fi power-pop group Guided by Voices shot a live club scene for the upcoming indie flick "Dean Quixote" at Los Angeles' Spaceland nightclub Wednesday (Nov. 18). The quintet invited its fans to participate in the shoot while performing at L.A.'s Whisky a Go Go the night before. During that two-hour-plus performance, GBV -- featuring a recently revised lineup -- performed a host of new material from their upcoming album, due next year; "Dean Quixote" also is due in 1999.
